S8 E8 The One About Holi

Updated: Mar 18, 2023

The day I release this episode is Holi - the most revered festival from Hindu Dharma with colour powder and bonfires. It marks the end of the cold dark winter and the beginning of spring and new beginnings. Molly Acharya and Ash Kundi (intermittantly) join me once more to discuss;

Discuss what Holi is, the stories behind them, why there are bonfires and coloured powder, how it is celebrated across the world, and how to teach it. We also explore the cross curricular links with art if you want to share this episode with your art department.

And, as usual, there is a lot of laughs and a lot about food in this episode! Enjoy

How to support The RE Podcast

I want to continue to create the RE Podcast as a FREE resource for teachers. However, there are runnings costs. I have to pay a monthly fee to Buzzsprout to host the podcast, I have to pay a fee for the website and the email address, I have to pay a fee to riverside fm to let me record interviews, plus the recording equipment has been a huge investment and needs updating..

There are THREE ways to support;

1) A one off gift at my Buy Me A Coffee page

2) Become and Patreon and give monthly where you will get extra content for FREE.

3) If you can't support financially, please leave a review on apple podcasts
